AMMAN — Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan on Thursday met with Kristina Kanapinskaite, head of Division for Lending Operation in the Public Sector in EU Southern Neighbouring Countries at the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Held on the sidelines of the seventh Brussels Conference on "Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region", the meeting covered funding for priority projects within the Economic Modernisation Vision in the water sector, and additional funding for the National Water Carrier Project, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The two sides also discussed opportunities and priority areas for cooperation with the EIB in the transport and education sectors.
