The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation hosted the third meeting of the Jordan Development Partners Group (JDPG), which includes representatives from the donor community, international financing institutions, and United Nations organizations. The JDPG has been established early this year by representatives of international partners in Jordan, led by the United Nations, the World Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development, to serve as a platform to assist international partners and the Government of Jordan in advancing collective efforts to achieve the modernization agenda. The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation chaired the meeting, in addition to the Group Co-chairs; United Nations, the World Bank, and the USAID in Jordan. The meeting focused on the on the Economic Modernization Vision and its Executive Program (2023-2025). During the meeting, the Minister provided an overview on the three modernization tracks, in addition to updates on the main achievements in 2023 within the Vision’s Executive Development Program (2023-2025), and the key priorities in 2024. The Minister thanked the international community, and reiterated appreciation to the continued support to Jordan. Furthermore, Toukan stressed on the importance of continuing the coordination of international community efforts in supporting the implementation of development priorities and the Vision’s executive program.
