Vice Minister for Trade and Development at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visits the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan, welcomed Pascale Grotenhuis, Vice Minister for Trade and Development accompanied by the Dutch Ambassador to Jordan, Harry Verweij. The meeting highlighted the exceptional partnership between Jordan and the Netherlands and avenues for enhanced economic and development cooperation.

Toukan conveyed appreciation for the Netherlands’ continued support to Jordan, especially under the Prospects Partnership Program and the new signed grant to the Water Desalination and Conveyance Project as well as capacity building and training programs for public service extended under the Sharaka Program.  
 
Both sides discussed future priorities focusing on education, water, entrepreneurship, and private sector development aligned with the Economic Modernization Vision as well as support to refugees and host communities.
